Return and Refund Policy

At Livraria Raízes da Fé, we want you to feel confident when purchasing our Bibles, books, and devotionals. This policy applies to online purchases delivered in Brazil and respects your rights under Brazilian consumer protection law.

1. Right to Cancel Your Purchase

You may cancel your online purchase within 7 calendar days of receiving your order, without providing a reason.

To exercise this right, contact us within that period. You may also submit your cancellation request through the same channel used to place your order.

For a cancellation of the entire order, we will refund all amounts paid, including the original shipping charge. Return shipping will be covered by Livraria Raízes da Fé. No restocking or cancellation fee will apply.

Please provide your name, order number or proof of purchase, and the item you wish to return. If the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, a brief description and photographs, when available, can help us resolve the issue.

You do not need to provide a reason when exercising your 7-day cancellation right.

We will confirm receipt of your request and provide return instructions, including the return address and shipping arrangements. Please contact us before shipping the item so we can arrange the appropriate return method.

3. Preparing Your Return

Please package the item securely to prevent damage during transportation and include any accessories or supplementary materials supplied with it.

Whenever possible, use the original packaging. However, opening the packaging or inspecting the product does not, by itself, prevent you from exercising your statutory cancellation right.

Please handle books, Bibles, and devotionals with care while inspecting them and avoid writing, highlighting, or otherwise altering them.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, contains a printing or binding defect, has missing pages, or includes an item different from the one ordered, contact us as soon as you notice the problem.

We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate solution under Brazilian consumer protection law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement, a refund, or a price reduction.

The 7-day cancellation period does not limit your statutory rights concerning defective products. Applicable legal claim periods, including those for hidden defects, remain protected.

Return and replacement shipping costs related to a confirmed defect, shipping damage, or our fulfillment error will be covered by Livraria Raízes da Fé.

5. Refunds

Refunds for a valid exercise of the statutory cancellation right will be initiated immediately, as required by applicable law. We will not make the refund conditional on store credit or a replacement purchase.

Whenever possible, refunds will be issued through the original payment method. If another arrangement is necessary, we will agree on it with you.

For card payments, we will promptly notify the payment provider to cancel or reverse the transaction. The date the credit appears on your account or statement depends on your bank or payment provider’s processing procedures.

Any monetary adjustment required by applicable law will be respected.

6. Exchanges After the Cancellation Period

If you wish to exchange a non-defective item after the 7-day cancellation period, contact us to check availability and any applicable conditions before returning it.

Any voluntary exchange arrangement does not affect your statutory rights concerning defects, incorrect items, or failure to fulfill the order.

7. Cancellations Before Delivery

If you wish to cancel an order before delivery, contact us promptly. If it has already shipped, we will explain how to arrange its return without affecting your statutory cancellation rights.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts rights granted under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code or other applicable legislation. If a provision conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law, the applicable law will prevail.
